Sign, Design, & Feasibility Study

Sign at 2650 North Druid Hills Road

UUCA anticipates signing a contract with the vendor next week, once final design changes are included. We will then apply for a DeKalb County sign permit, which should be much faster than a building permit. By using the existing (grandfathered) location, pad and electrical access for the previous church sign, the review process should be smoother and will address neighborhood concerns about sight lines when exiting High Haven Court.

2650 North Druid Hills Design Meeting Notes

Next week, notes from the Design Charette on July 2 and the PP Design Team Exercise on July 19 will be posted to the Project Phoenix website. You are invited to review the detailed minutes for these two meetings, which were provided by our architect and are available in the Project Phoenix binders in the Volunteer Office at UUCA.

Capital Campaign Feasibility Study Update

Coxe Curry has reviewed information provided by UUCA and is now conducting interviews to help craft the case study for UUCA’s capital campaign. Deep gratitude to members of the UUCA Financial Feasibility Task Force who volunteered to help round up information Coxe Curry needed to start drafting the case study. Many thanks to Lyn Conley, John Merkel and Isha Ahsan Lee!

The UUCA Financial Feasibility Team is now being formed to review Coxe Curry’s draft case study when completed, as well as possible questions and potential congregants for personal interviews with Coxe Curry.
